Genki Wonder Drummer

Wonder 6 months
Wonder and her sister, Muta, are rescue kitties. One of the local homeschool moms sent out an e-mail saying her husband had been out for a walk and found a box of tiny kittens. This was-of course-the first night of the season that it was due to freeze.
They brought them in and cared for
the babies. Of the 5 he found, 2 died and their bigger brother was adopted fairly
quickly (and named Butterscotch).
I had a moment of weakness and we adopted them both.

Wonder is SO sweet.
She is quiet and insanely curious and freaky fast. She will climb the shower
curtain to peek over the top to see what the noise is about.
She pops out of nowhere all the time. She will jump up on your shoulder to give
lots of kitty kisses and thinks any lap-occupied or not-is a great place to
be.
The two have been so nice to have around and it's been a good experience for the kids. There is nothing quite like a baby creature and these two are such joys.
Wonder is by far the more cuddly and
lovey of the two, though usually when she is outside, she gets 'feral', which
is just darling. She will rush by our feet, tail poufed and eyes bright,
hopping like a mad frog, intent on a grasshopper, too busy to play housecat,
she is Wild Cat!

Genki-means 'energy'
Wonder-perfect cat name
Drummer-the first thing she did upon entering the house was run to the drum
cage, making the bass pedal barely knock against a drum, the kids declared her
a natural. And Jake pointed out that Dad would be apt to like them more
if we named them after tea products or drums.

With Jessie taken care of already,
Wonder carefully removes Kuma's tongue, rolling it up for safe-keeping.
I am not sure what cats do with it, once they have a tongue, but I can honestly
say,
neither Jessie nor Kuma have uttered a word lately.
